Again, Schwalbe voted "Best MTB Brand" in Europe

Repeating last years’ vote, over 34,000 readers from the two leading MTB magazines voted Schwalbe the winner of “Best Tire Brand”.

More than 82% of Mountain BIKE readers ride and prefer SCHWALBE MTB tires over any other tire brand, and for the third consecutive year they voted Schwalbe to be the best tire brand overall. Approximately 18,000 participants of the survey spoke clearly and placed the Schwalbe brand 13% ahead of the second place winner. This gap widened by 5% from the previous year, where the lead was approximately 8%.

In BIKE, the largest MTB magazine in Europe, Schwalbe won the readers choice for the second time in consecutive years. 53 % of over 16,000 BIKE readers voted Schwalbe as “Best Tire Brand”. The Racing Ralph and Nobby Nic & Co added 15% in reader votes compared to the previous year and the distance between First and Second place continued to grow to what is now almost a full 13 % differential.

Bohle technician Markus Hachmeyer, a former German national mountainbike team rider, is pleased about the honors since they directly reflect consumer satisfaction. In order to intrigue Bikers even further Bohle technicians already have plans laid for further exciting developments in 2009. “We’re cooking up a little something new”, Hachmeyer confided. The success results from Schwalbe’s ever developing product range over the past few years, in particular the exclusive Evolution Line.
