Racing Ralph HS 391

The most successful competition tire. We made it even more merciless – lower
weight, lower rolling resistance, better grip. It slices through terrain with its ‘sharkstooth’
U-Blocks that make it grip much more aggressively, particularly in curves.
| BIKE Magazine Tire Test 04/2008 “Schwalbe’s Racing Ralph sets the benchmark. The brand-new Tubeless variant achieves the lowest ever value of 19,8 Watts, measured by BIKE, with even better durability in comparison to its predecessor.” |

Racing Ralph 29er in a smaller size.
2.4, no snakeskin or tubless? huh!
Are you guys retarded? You make a 2.4 RR tire, which is obviously for aggressive XC, but no snakeskin? Just lame!
Not Buying a Single Tire Till....
This is available in the 2.0-2.1 variety even if it means I have to wait all season for I still have some NICs and Old Skool Ralphs
2.4 Snakeskin
Please make a 2.4 Snakeskin. I love the design, but I am a big guy and need the volume. i also ride a lot of rocky sections. Thanks, -Chris.
29er 2.0 Racing Ralph
Please produce a 2.0-2.1 29er for a rear tire. Also more side wall protection and tubeless
Snakeskin in the 2.4 and 2.25?
The sidewalls seem so thin, will there ever be a snakeskin version in 29?
Be the first...
I am STILL waiting for a 29er semi-slick. We don’t need any more “big tire” offerings.
Superb Racing Ralph in current sizing.
Congratulations on my favorite 29er tyre to date.
All you moaners wanting 2.0-2.1seem to have forgotten the fact that bigger is faster.
forget the little grams saved and enjoy the 2.25 - all round speed and grip demon - helps me to win races !
and the 2.4 doesnt need any reinforcement - plenty of bag and plenty of durability
Front tires UST
the front tires must be over 2.3 to get control to de biker, and made with a very soft compound.
dont have this option for tubeless.
2.25 is to small for a front tire.
I’m Cesar Ribeiro from Brazil.

see you on the trails.
favorite tires!
These are definitely my favorite tires! Running 29x2.4 in the front and 29x2.25 in the rear. I don’t think there is a better low weight tire on the market! The grip is tremendous for the weight.
Keep the awesome tires coming!
29er tire with snakeskin or double defense
I love the Racing Ralph tires I used all of last season and can’t wait to try out the new design. Can you produce the 29er version with the snakeskin option or the double defense option? With all of the new 29 inch all-mountain specific components on the market someone needs to step up to the plate with some sidewall protected tires. This would be awesome and i’m positive i’m not the only one looking for this option.
2.4 Tubeless ? Where is it at ???
You guys could produce a “relatively” lightweight 2.4 tubeless version of this tire you would probably sell a gazillion of them… I ONLY run tubeless with Stan’s. This is a bullit-proof way to setup your tires for hassle-free riding…
CAN YOU READ: SIDEWALLS
This is the best 29er tire period EXCEPT for the sidewalls. I have already torn two this season on colorado typical downhill lose rock sections. The fact that I do long rides out in the middle of nowhere isn’t helping guys, and if that happens on one of my races I would probably never use them again. I don’t care about the added snakeskin weight, they hook up so well, please just do it. ETURK
RR 29er with snakeskin....Please?
I think you should offer the 29er version in snakeskin for the 2.25 and the 2.4. I’ll buy both!
29er WITH SNAKESKIN!
The 29er trailbikes of today are in need of extra sidewall protection, especially since snakeskin hardly any weight. Please?
please make a 2.4 with snakeskin
Please make a 2.4 with snakeskin, it will most likely be about 100g lighter than the Rampage. I will be waiting, until then I will continue to buy a Rampage.
29'er RR
The 2.4 needs a bit more side wall protection. Can you make a fast tire on a SnakeSkin carcass, like on a Nobby Nic?
650b Racing Ralph! You guys ROCK!
I am so pleased to see this tire in the 650b size. IMO, this wheel size is going to have a huge impact on riding / riding styles and the bicycle industry as a whole in a few years. Keep up the good work and offer more 650b treads ASAP!
Great tires . . . plus, a few suggestions.
You guys have great customer service, very well designed tires and a true commitment to putting out quality products. I love the Racing Ralphs, both the standard EVO and the snakeskin. I echo others feedback that a 2.4 snakeskin version would be very attractive. Also, consistent sizing would be very helpful as well.
Width + UST + Skin?
Add my voice to the others: I would LOVE to be able to get the Racing Ralph in a 26 x 2.4” UST with SnakeSkin. The combo of speed, control, and sidewall durability would make an unbeatable XC/trail tire for the US southwest. PLEASE….bring it on!
UST PROTECTION!
No UST Snakeskin? Are you feeling alright? Better lie down then.
Racing Ralph
I would have bought these if there had been a tubless option for the 29er. Went with the Bontrager XR-1 Team Issue instead. Will check back!
Thanks
Guys! This is a racing tire, not an every day or training tire!
As the name suggests these tires are really made for racing. With more protection and other nice features will weight it down and negate a lot of the reasons why we love these tires.
As much as I love these tires I only run them during race day, pre-riding the course or known smooth trails.
UST or Tubeless Ready in 29er PLEASE
I’ve been riding RR26*2.25 UST on my fully and would love to run them on my 29er. Please add them to your line up, whether UST or tubeless ready.
UST Weight?
When did the UST versions gain weight? The 26x2.25 went from 650g to 710 grams.
Same comment, different day
There is a really poor selection of UST and/or moderate width 29er tires (from all manufacturers). Whats the deal? I don’t understand the trend of offering only wider 29er tires. If anything, I would think that you could get away with a narrower tire vs. a 26in wheel. Start with the standard 2.0-2.1 size and go from there. Who uses 2.2” tires for racing, Ralph?
What about *LONG RACES?
Define “Race”? Like the Colorado Trail Race, Great Divide Race, or any other zillion 100 or 50 MTB Race? Thats my category, and I really wish I we could depend on these tires. Seems to me that Schwalbe could satisfy both markets; one with snakeskin, one for the weight weenies. I would buy both for both occasions.
Ripskin
Not more than 20 miles on the 2.4 and ripped the sidewall on a golf ball size rock! Tire is trash now. However, it rode very nice before the failure.
29er semi slick
A Furious Fred 29er is coming soon…..
RR 2.2
Great tire but duarability is very suspect on stumps and rocks. I really love how this tire rolls and hooks up and it is amazing on sand, but i hve cut the rear one 3 times now and is mostly useless to me now. There is plenty of tread left but i have had more flats with this tire in one year than i have had in the previous 5 years. Better longevity is going to be needed for what most people are going to use this tire for.
