Schwalbe Tires North America - Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Schwalbe Tires North America ("Company"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Operating Hours
Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PT. We are closed Saturday and Sunday and all major American and Canadian holidays.
3. Product Information
a. The Company strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information about its bicycle tires, wheelchair tires, tubes, and cycling accessories. However, specifications, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice.
b. The Company does not warrant that product descriptions, images, or any other content on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
4. Ordering, Cancellation, and Sizing Information
a. When ordering, please be aware of sizing differences. Review our Technology/FAQ page for assistance in assessing which products are the correct items for your specific needs. For further assistance, please contact customer service.
b. We process all orders based solely on the specific article numbers associated with said products.
c. If you need to change your order after placement but before processing and shipping, call Customer Service immediately at 1-888-700-5860. DO NOT send change requests via email as the respective order may have already been processed.
5. Shipping and Delivery
a. All orders are shipped via Standard Ground Service from our North American Distribution Center at 5501 Hovander Road Suite 102, Ferndale WA 98248, by Fed-Ex, UPS, or USPS depending on availability. Delivery is only avaliable to addresses within Canada and the Continental USA. Standard ground shipping generally takes no longer than 5 business days, but is ultimately the responsibility of the respective shipping courier.
b. Delivery responsibility is deferred to the carrier upon shipment pickup.
c. Order processing typically occurs within 2 business days from the date of purchase and is dependent on order volume.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please provide a daytime shipping address where you can receive and sign for your order personally.
7. Inspection of Merchandise
Upon receiving your order, inspect all merchandise immediately. Report any missing or damaged items within 3 business days of the order delivery date. Please do not damage any internal packaging in the event of a return.
8. Returns and Refunds
a. We accept returns on most products within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance charges are not refundable.
b. Prior to returning any items customers must contact Schwalbe North America to acquire a Return Verification Number (RVN). The RVN number must be marked (and clearly visible) on the outside of the return shipping package.
c. Returned items must be in as-new condition, in their undamaged and original retail packaging, and not used, installed, or mounted. For the safety of future customers Schwalbe North America inspects all returned products, and reserves the right to refuse/reverse a refund if the returned product(s) are found to be damaged or show evidence of prior use, installation, or mounting.
d. Upon receipt, and physical inspection of the returned items, Schwalbe North America will issue a refund (not including original shipping fees if applicable) to the credit card which was used for the original purchase of the item/s. Under no circumstances will a refund be made to an alternate card/payment method.
e. All Items which are accessible and visible in the "SALE" section of Schwalbe North America’s website are ineligible for return/refund/exchange.
f. Items returned in contravention of any of the above criteria will be disposed of/recycled appropriately.
9. Warranty
All warranty inquiries must be submitted under the Warranty tab of our Service and Information footer. Customers are expected to read our warranty policy before submitting a claim. Schwalbe North America is only permitted to address warranty claims made in Canada and the Continental USA.
10. Discounts and Promotions
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, discounts, promotional offers, or special pricing cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing discounts, sales, or promotional offers. Each discount or promotion is valid for use only as specified and cannot be combined with any other offer.
This policy applies to all discounts, including but not limited to percentage-based, fixed amount, seasonal, and member-exclusive discounts. We reserve the right to modify or cancel any promotions or discounts at our discretion.
11. Payment Information
Payments are securely processed via Adyen. Neither the method of payment nor the respective information is stored in our system. Credit Card Prepaid is the default payment method for all orders. Orders using this payment method are instantly processed during checkout. Customers with approved extended payment conditions will be contacted directly with payment procedure. Such payments are collected manually or through a Pay by Link distributed by Adyen on behalf of Schwalbe Tires North America Inc.
All transactions are processed in Canada. Customers using payment methods that have been issued outside of Canada, including but not limited to The United States of America, should be aware of potential international transaction fees imposed by their financial institution. Any incurred international transaction fees are a result of the payment method used and the respective issuer. Schwalbe Tires North America Inc. bears no responsibility for additional charges incurred on paid transactions.
12. General Policies
a. Schwalbe Tires North America, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to any individual.
b. Schwalbe Tires North America, Inc. reserves the right of property on all products shipped and invoiced until full payment of the sale price, including interest and service charges, is received.
c. Ralf Bohle GmbH reserves the right to change specifications without notice in the interest of continual improvement of SCHWALBE products and their performance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the Continental USA, and any disputes shall be resolved in the respective communal jurisdiction.
14. Modifications
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
